Final prep/inspection of boat in Panama - Check. Load boat to the gunwales with food/provisions - Check. Water and fuel tanks full - Check. Leave of Absence from work extended - Check. House still rented -Check. Reassure family, bank and accountant we haven't lost our minds - Check. Pull anchor, pole out the twin headsails, and point boat Southwest - Check.
Next stop Galápagos baby!
You will be in great company. Keep an eye out for s/v Flying Circus - they have five kids onboard - and s/v Del Viento - they have two girls onboard, and many wonderful boats and people who did the Baja Ha-Ha with us and are doing the puddle jump with you. ReplyDeleteWe'll keep an eye out for sure! If you do the South Pacific, we highly recommend Galápagos! So far it's amazing. Hopefully we'll cross wakes somewhere. Fair winds and safe sails.
